The Odyssey Tennis Academy is located in the southwest of France, in the Landes department. More specifically, the academy operates at the Hossegor Tennis Club Hossegor Tennis Club, or as the name suggests is itself located in the town of Hossegor. The town of Soorts-Hossegor is located on the Atlantic coast. The Landes department is located just above the Basque Country. This geographical location offers an idyllic and unique geographical and cultural setting.
The South West of France is very rich in history, and campers have the opportunity to visit part of it. We also strive to make them discover and understand the culture specific to France, and more particularly the Landes and the Basque Country. For example, we take them to shows in arenas that are unique in the world (“courses landaises”, typical outdoor farmer’s market, etc.)
The South West of France has a lot to offer and the magnificent landscapes of the Landes and the Basque Country are always a big summer attraction for both French citizens and international tourists.
The Landes forest is mainly made up of tall pines and cycle paths where runners, walkers and cyclists can also enjoy an invigorating workout.
In addition, players will have the opportunity to discover the natural heritage and the different landscapes that the French South West Atlantic region has to offer, such as the Atlantic Ocean, beaches and dunes, as well as pine forests, the vast lakes and mountains of the Pyrenees (an hour’s drive south). Sports Campus is also located an hour’s drive from Spain.
